Shaping Future Leaders
Mentors come alongside students as positive role models to build intentional relationships, offer encouragement and wisdom, and support UU educational experiences.
Did you know that youth that have mentors in their lives are more likely to: Have a better attitude both at home and at school? Make healthier relationship and lifestyle choices? Have improved interpersonal skills? Have an enhanced self-esteem? Graduate from high school, and to be less likely to abuse drugs and alcohol? (MENTOR, 2009; Cavell, DuBois, Karcher, Keller, & Rhodes, 2009)
Ready to take the next step?
#commUUnity
Mentors have the opportunity to invest, support, and share in our #commUUnity beyond class experiences. We are better together.
