Knockout Homelessness Annual Fund Campaign
Featuring the Bizzarro Family Match Fund
DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT in February! Every gift matched dollar-for-dollar up to $20,000
For 17 years, Knockout Homelessness has been the Erie City Mission's premier fundraising initiative—bringing our community together to fight hunger and homelessness. What began as an unforgettable night of celebrity boxing has now evolved into something even more powerful: a community-wide annual fund campaign that continues the legacy, knocking out homelessness by offering help and hope to our most vulnerable neighbors
Help us DOUBLE our Impact for Men in Need!
Established in recognition of Lou Bizzarro, Sr., and Family, whose founding vision and 17 years of dedicated service to Knockout Homelessness have changed countless lives. In honor of their extraordinary commitment, the Erie City Mission have launched the Bizzarro Family Match Fund—ensuring their legacy continues to provide refuge, support, and a path forward for men experiencing homelessness.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of Glenwood Methodist Church, who stepped forward with a $20,000 matching gift to inaugurate this fund, every dollar you give to our men's Samaritan Care Shelter throughout the month of February will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $20,000.
This means your $50 gift becomes $100. Your $500 gift becomes $1,000. And together, we can raise $40,000 to ensure that men in crisis have a safe place to sleep, nutritious meals, and the support they need to rebuild their lives.
Whether you've been with us since the early days of Knockout Homelessness (est. 2008) or you're partnering with our mission for the first time, your gift this February will have twice the impact.
The Bizzarro family's commitment didn't just raise funds—it transformed lives. Now, we're inviting you to be part of this enduring legacy.
Are you ready to knock out homelessness?
