GINGERBREAD HOUSE CONTEST TO BENEFIT THE ERIE CITY MISSION
You can help the Erie City Mission
by designing and constructing a Gingerbread House for our contest taking place on Tuesday, December 15 at the Millcreek Mall in conjunction with our annual 13 Hour WXTA Country 98 Radio-thon.
Houses will be on display and the public will determine by their dollar votes which are the BEST!
First and second place prizes will be awarded in each division.

Participants must register for the contest by Friday, December 11 by calling The Mission at 452-4421 Ext. 39 or by clicking THIS LINK to register online.
There will be a $5.00 registration fee for each entry. Please send in your registration fee to PO Box 407 Erie PA 16512, and put "Gingerbread House Fee" on your check.

CONTEST RULES:
1) In order to encourage lots of participation, gingerbread kits are allowed.
2) Entry should have major components (such as walls and roofs) constructed of gingerbread.
3) All components must be edible.
4) The entry must be delivered in completed form attached to a base enabling it to be freestanding. Bases no bigger than 24" L x 18" W. Entries may not be taller than 26" H. Bases must be completely concealed with an edible product.
5) You may add electric lighting to your entry, but you must also provide any necessary extension cords.
6) Entry must have been constructed in 2009.
7) Entries should be delivered to the Main Concourse in the Millcreek Mall no later than 8AM on Tuesday, December 15, 2009.
8) Entries must be picked up again by 8:00PM on Tuesday, December 15, 2009. Houses left after this time will be discarded.
9) The Erie City Mission reserves the right not to display an entry if it is not done in good taste.
