Erie City Mission Volunteers Are the BEST!
On Tuesday, April 21, volunteers were invited to a dinner banquet at the Mission dining hall with activities and a program that celebrated this year’s theme: “The Power of One can make all the difference.”
The one thing that stands out about our volunteers is their selfless hearts with which they serve.
Over 150 volunteers had the chance to participate in a Hat Contest with various categories, a huge Chinese Auction and other Raffle Drawings.
They enjoyed musical and comical entertainment along with great fellowship and heartfelt messages of gratitude from staff, administration and board members alike.
The Erie City Mission realizes that our volunteers do not expect recognition for their service, but it sure is nice to somehow express our appreciation and so much fun just to hang out together.
